I heard it might have a better chance of working from XP than Win7, but don't know if there's any truth to that. I played Little Busters Perfect Edition(Its engine is just only the same as the regular LB) and I can play it normally but of course I need to change my Region settings and whatelse. It's using the same RealLive engine but has a much deeper OS check than any other VN I've ever seen which makes it almost impossible to trick it into believing you're playing from a Japanese OS. Is Kud Wafter using a different engine? Not that I'll play that anyway. It's not exactly a secret that it's near impossible to play outside Japan. So no, Kud Wafter uses a almost completely hack-proof system and you can google it all you want. Personally I can manage to get it to not shutting down and getting a fixed black screen where I can at least right click on it and get up the options menu but it's still black and unplayable. If you in addition to all that, run it in admin mode and close down all the error messages saying "THIS GAME IS JAPAN ONLY" then you might be able to bug it out and get it to work, but only in rare cases for some people.

If you in addition to that use NTLEA in order to bypass these triggers and directly identify your settings as fully Japanese it's still not enough. If you change your formatting, location, keyboard language and system locale all to Japanese it's not enough. Kud Wafter? I believe you just only need to change your Region settings to Japanese and you're good to go.Hah, you wish

Haven't played Air & Kud Wafter due to lack of translation (latter one won't even work on a non-Japanese OS T.T)
